The materials required for making these flowers are colored tissue papers, craft wires, wire cutters, scissors and green florist tape.
Follow the steps below to make beautiful tissue paper flowers:
· Fold the tissue paper and cut petals of uniform shape and size.
· Fold a green colored tissue paper and cut leaves out of it.
· Cut the craft wire to make a desirable stem length.
· Wrap the wire securely with the green florist tape.
· Make a small bud of the scrap tissue paper and wrap it completely with the desired color of tissue paper.
· Place the bud securely on the top of the wire and attach it with the florist tape.
· Attach the petals one by one to the wire using the bud as the center.
· Securely wrap the base of each petal attaching it with the wire stem.
· Place the petals according to the desired shape and size of the desired flower.
· Then, firmly attach leaves to the stem using the florist tape.
· Make 5 or 6 flowers in the similar manner and wrap the base of all the wire stems together, making it a beautiful bouquet of handcrafted tissue paper.
